The shortest verse in the bible can be an oddly comforting thing to those of us experiencing grief and sorrow. Sometimes all we want is for someone to see and understand. Sometimes all we need is for someone to come by us and say, “I know exactly what you’re going through”. Too often we go at trials alone, believing that no one can truly understand. That no one knows why we’re struggling or why after so much time we are still struggling. But there is one who does. He is opening His hands wide waiting for you to give what you’re holding to Him. He sees. He knows. He understands.
